The LEKKER Amsterdam GT Enviolo eBike is the perfect fusion of comfort, power and high-quality components. Everything bar the 100% aluminium frame is sourced from premium bike component manufacturers. This allows LEKKER to hand source the right components to build you a simple, serviceable and long-lasting bike. 

The aluminium frame and forks are LEKKER’s take on classic Dutch design: lightweight and durable, the frame is christened with a strong powder coat finish to keep the Amsterdam GT looking good-as-new, no matter where it takes you.

Traditional geared bikes have their benefits. But for long commutes and heavy loads, there’s a better option available. The LEKKER bikes Amsterdam GT is powerful; with a choice of Samsung batteries giving you a range of up to 110km, it will go the distance in any weather, on flat city streets and country hillsides. It comes with a kickstand, lightweight aluminium fenders, and practical mud flaps to keep your feet dry. A stepless gearing system is just one of the features that makes the LEKKER Amsterdam GT unique. Its gearing ratio is equivalent to an 11-speed gearbox, with an added 310% ratio freedom to choose your speeds from. Instead of a chain, the Amsterdam GT is fitted with a Gates Carbon Belt Drive e-bike system; the combination means zero maintenance is required, giving you peace of mind.

LEKKER have taken the Amsterdam GT and created a masterpiece in modern technology design. This model fuses the state-of-the-art Enviolo Hub with a top-class Bafang M420 mid-drive motor – one of the most powerful, compact and silent motors on the market – to make for a smooth, effortless ride. This is an eBike with an Enviolo Hub: in other words, an eBike that has it all.

Yes, the Bafang M420 is slightly heavier than other models, but with 85Nm of torque, and a super-sensitive electric sensor system, it’s constantly measuring the force of your pedalling, calculating exactly how much support to give you. There’s on-demand acceleration to power you through traffic, and the power it provides is perfect for climbing hills – or when you just need a little extra push.

Fuss-free features

One of the benefits of a LEKKER bike is their approach to making sure every bike comes ready-to-ride. The Amsterdam GT is no different; with hydraulic disc brakes, an adjustable handlebar, and integrated LED lights on the front and back. 

The tyres on the LEKKER Amsterdam GT are WTB Riddler All-Terrain tyres, giving you the traction you need, no matter what the weather or where you’re riding. These tyres feel right at home on both urban streets and gravel paths, giving you peace of mind when you’re out and about.

And finally, we can’t forget about the cockpit. LEKKER have fitted the Amsterdam GT with an inbuilt, compact LED display. Giving you insights into battery charge, speed and mileage, it’s topped off with a high contrast display so you can even see it in direct sunlight. The handlebars themselves are an adjustable Ergotec model, and your seating position is – you guessed it – the classic Dutch upright position, keeping your eyes on the road at all times.

Amsterdam-based LEKKER was originally founded in 2009 with a lofty goal in mind – to revolutionise the modern commute. Taking a Dutch classic and adding the latest in cycling technology, the LEKKER range is a masterclass in engineering. 

When founder Meindert swapped the streets of Amsterdam for Australia’s Bondi Beach, he quickly realised that there was something missing from this idyllic new lifestyle in the sun: his beautiful Dutch bicycle. And so, LEKKER as we know it was born.
